Our client is a cloud-based civic intelligence platform (SAAS) and data management solution built to empower local governments. The workforce is entirely remote – so we are conducting a national search.
The company was co-founded in 2016, has raised a significant amount in seed funding to date. They are beginning a second round-seed funding effort. There is a strong board in place, a portfolio of investors, an acting CEO, and a team of full-time employees, including one of the original founders who is on the engineering side. This is a rare opportunity to be the CEO of a start-up, without being a founder. Comp-wise, there is a base, bonus tied to fundraising, and equity stake in the company.
